01 Complete our form
Fill out our virtual consult form online, so that we can get some more information about you and what you specific needs. Be sure to include any concerns and questions that you have for our staff or surgeons. There is also an option to attach photos for the surgeon to review when evaluating your case.
02 Receive a proposal
In most cases, you’ll receive a proposal within 24 hours of submitting a request via email from your assigned patient care consultant. This will show a breakdown of pricing, what’s included, and next steps to move forward with the surgery. You’ll also be able to contact your consultant moving forward with any questions or concerns about your rhinoplasty surgery.
03 Submit photos or Schedule a video call
In order to move forward with your nose surgery, the surgeon must evaluate your nose and your specific goals. Patients can either submit photos including multiple angles (front, both profiles, and head titled back) along with comments about their goals and concerns, or can schedule a video call at their convenience to virtually meet with the surgeon. We offer virtual consultations with Dr. Robert Cucin, Dr. John Pinnella, Dr. Brandon Elnekaveh, and Dr. Rohan Policherla. We also offer in-person consultations with a $500 deposit that goes towards the overall cost of your rhinoplasty surgery.
04 Get approved
After your consultation, whether by submitting photos, video call, or in-person, the surgeon will create a surgical plan and approve you as a candidate for rhinoplasty surgery. The surgeon might also suggest another nose procedure; such as, septoplasty, alarplasty, or tip plasty. Your patient care consultant will reach out to you to confirm the surgeon’s approval and answer any remaining questions you may have.
05 Leave deposit to hold price
Once you are ready to move forward, you can leave a $500 deposit using a credit card, cash, or one of our trusted financing partners. This deposit goes towards the overall cost of your surgery. Deposits are non-refundable, but remain as a center credit for a period of one year.
06 Schedule surgery
After you leave your deposit, you are ready to schedule your surgery. Our scheduling supervisor will reach out to you and choose dates for your pre-operative and surgical appointments that work for you. If you’re not ready to schedule right away, just let us know when to reach out and we will be happy to follow up at a later time.

It’s funny how people tell you that your nose is okay, but they don’t have to look at it daily, at 38 I finally got mine done, I did my research, and found Dr Cucin, there is nothing negative that I can say about him or the clinic.I definitely felt that I could trust him, he has so much experience. My rhinoplasty results with South Florida Center are AMAZING. I had a pretty great experience overall. I got my rhinoplasty done with Dr. Cucin and it is absolutely perfect – its natural, new, and exactly how I wanted it. Tamika and Heather were so sweet at all my appointments and really kept me calm and confident. Melinda was also so great and attentive throughout the whole booking process, answered all my questions through messages quickly, as I am from Toronto and wasn’t able to see anyone before my Pre-Op. (photo is 8 days post-op, right after cast removal). My only suggestion would be for more attentiveness right after surgery; I didn’t receive as much (or any) check up messages as I did before surgery. I feel that they called a lot before the procedure for payment, pre-op, etc. but not much after. The lady hooking me up to my IV and doing all pre-surgery things was also not nice lol.. especially while I was really nervous going into surgery, I would expect someone more warm and friendly while sitting alone for an hour prior.

How old do you have to be to do rhinoplasty?
We perform rhinoplasties on patients as young as 15 years old with parental consent. However, health is the primary consideration in determining the maximum age allowed for this procedure.
How is a rhinoplasty surgery performed?
Typically, nose shaping incisions are made inside the nose, so there are no visible scars. Using specialized instruments, your plastic surgeon cuts the nasal bones and moves and narrows them to reshape your nasal structure. Your surgeon can also shorten or raise the top of your nose by removing or adding cartilage. And, in some cases, they may use an implant to give a more flattering shape.
Depending on your particular case, your rhinoplasty surgery will involve one of the following procedures:
- Reducing the nasal bridge or building it up with a cartilage graft
- Sculpting the tip of the nose
- Refining the nostrils
- Straining the septum or reducing oversized turbinates to address the appearance and breathing function of your nose.
In some cases, an implant or cartilage from another part of the body may also be added to obtain your nose’s final shape. However, since most rhinoplasty procedures are done inside the nose, there are virtually no visible incisions or scarring.
How do I prepare for my nose shaping procedure?
During your initial visit, expect to provide your complete medical history, including all your medications, allergies, and previous surgeries. You’ll also undergo an extensive physical exam and blood tests before your surgeon takes photographs to aid in planning and performing your rhinoplasty surgery. Finally, you’ll receive essential instructions to prepare for treatment as well as a realistic explanation of the results you can expect to achieve.
How long does the procedure take?
Your surgery time will vary, depending on the amount of shaping necessary. Most rhinoplasty surgeries take between 60 and 90 minutes to complete. However, work done to improve your breathing (septal) may add twenty minutes.
Can I return home same day after rhinoplasty?
Yes. Rhinoplasty surgery does not require a major recovery process. However, it is necessary that you have someone to pick you up after the procedure, take you home, and stay with you for at least 24 hours.
How long before I can return to normal day activities?
Most patients return to normal activities within seven days.
What is the rhinoplasty recovery timeline and what can I expect during recovery?
Once your rhinoplasty surgery is complete, your surgeon will apply taping and a protective splint over your nose. These are generally left in place for seven days. Your nose may also be packed with light gauze for five days. However, the placement and removal of the packing are painless. Swelling and discoloration of the nose and bruising around the eyes is standard following nose shaping and should not alarm you. Reduction in swelling and bruising begins on the fourth or fifth day.
You can resume moderately active sports such as swimming, tennis, and golf after three weeks. Sports involving body contact such as football, wrestling, etc. are prohibited for six weeks. Your plastic surgeon will also give you specific instructions regarding rest, sleeping position, washing your face and hair, and breathing techniques.
Week One:
You will have a cast on your noise. Significant swelling and bruising is normal and expected. Breathing may be difficult. Your surgeon may prescribe pain medication to manage discomfort; as well as, antibiotics to prevent infection.
Second to Third Week:
Your coast will be removed. Swelling is reducing. Bruises are fading. Light exercise is ok during this time.
Second to Third Month:
Bruising should disappear during this time. Only slight swelling might be present as final healing occurs. Moderate exercise is ok at this time.
Fourth Month to One Year:
The final healing process continue throughout the first year as your bones set and scar heal. You can resume normal activities during this time, but should avoid contact sports until final healing is complete. Final result is complete one year post-operatively.
How long should I stay in town following my rhinoplasty?
It is imperative that all patients remain in town for one week post-operatively. Rhinoplasty patients will have a cast on their nose for one week following their surgery. At the one week post-operative appointment, the cast will be removed and the surgeon will clear you to travel.
