Actual Patients Shown Before And After Surgery. Your Results May Vary.
First, your Physician Assistant will evaluate your complete medical history to determine if you are a good candidate for treatment. Then, they’ll perform a comprehensive facial examination to determine which areas of your lips may benefit from Restylane Kysse. Your Physician Assistant will work with you to address your concerns and create the best treatment plan for you. They will also explain the procedure in detail and give you an idea of the results you can expect.
Your Physician Assistant will begin the procedure by applying a topical anesthetic to reduce any pain, if necessary. Next, they will inject Restylane Kysse into your lips and surrounding treatment area(s) to add fullness and smooth fine lines. After administering the first injection, they will pause to allow the filler’s anesthetic to numb the area. This step significantly reduces pain and discomfort during the procedure. After several injections, your Physician Assistant may massage your lips to ensure the filler is evenly distributed and looks natural.
Results from Restylane Kysse are immediate, providing full, smooth lips and a more flattering shape. Avoid touching the treatment area for six hours following the procedure. After that time, you can gently wash your lips with soap and water. Cold compresses are helpful to reduce swelling and redness, however pain is typically minimal. Results last up to one year, but this varies from person to person.
You can expect added volume in the lips, as well as smoother skin and reduced fine lines around the mouth. Restylane Kysse also gives the lips a naturally smooth and full appearance.
Your Physician Assistant will use a series of injections to administer Restylane Kysse into your lips and surrounding treatment area(s), adding volume and smoothing out wrinkles and fine lines. Once the procedure is complete, they will massage your lips to create a more natural look and feel.
Restylane Kysse contains an anesthetic called lidocaine to reduce pain and discomfort during the injections. Your Physician Assistant may also apply a mild analgesic cream 30 minutes before your treatment. This effectively eliminates the slight twinge that may be caused by the fine needle during the first injection.
Restylane Kysse treatments typically take about 15 minutes per treatment area.
Results typically last 9-12 months, however this varies from patient to patient.
