Liposuction 360

Stubborn fat in areas like your stomach, hips, and thighs can be difficult to get rid of with exercise alone. Liposuction is one of the most popular cosmetic procedures to combat this issue. Because it can eliminate excess fat and contour the body to create a more proportionate figure, liposuction continues to be a highly effective procedure. However, one of the main drawbacks of liposuction is that your surgeon can only work on one area at a time.

Lipo360 takes liposuction a step further by treating multiple areas at once. While traditional liposuction may target either the waist, abdomen or back, Lipo360 targets the entire abdomen at the same time and enhances results.

    The Liposuction 360 Process

    Consult

During your initial visit, expect to provide your complete medical history, including all your medications, allergies, and previous surgeries. You’ll also undergo an extensive physical exam and blood tests before your surgeon takes photographs to aid in planning and performing your liposuction procedure. Finally, you’ll receive important instructions to prepare for the liposuction 360 procedure, including cautions about taking certain medications or drinking alcohol, and protocols for shaving and using antibacterial soap.

    Procedure

First, your surgeon will inject a large amount of saline solution mixed with anesthetic deep into the tissues surrounding your treatment area(s). Next, they’ll make a small incision to insert a hollow tube, which will be used to loosen the excess fat before it is removed with a surgical vacuum. Once the liposuction 360 procedure is complete, your surgeon will suture the skin at the incision points back together and apply a bandage or surgical garment to help re-drape the skin and contain swelling.

    Recovery

The anesthetic used during a liposuction 360 procedure allows for a more comfortable recovery period, typically lasting about three days. Avoid strenuous activities and exercise, and be prepared to allow at least a few weeks for your body to heal completely. Your stitches will be painlessly removed just 5-7 days after surgery. Then, a unique support garment will continue shaping your body for the next 1-3 weeks. You’ll see a reduction in excess fat immediately following Lipo360, but it will take 2-4 months for swelling to disappear and reveal your new body.

    Post Procedure

After a Liposuction 360 procedure, patients whose jobs do not involve full-time sitting usually return to work in just a few days. Other patients wait up to two weeks. However, after about a month, your procedure swelling will have reduced substantially, and you can resume your regular exercise routine.

    Liposuction 360 Testimonials

    Kelly R.

“I had liposuction of my abdomen, flanks, and chin and I couldn’t be happier!! I was left with very minimal bruising. I usually bruise very easily, so when days went by and I saw that I had only a small amount of bruising I was so happy and relieved. I am so happy and would recommend him to anyone who asks.”

You can expect a reduction in fatty bulges immediately following your Lipo 360 procedure. After 2-4 months, changes will be more apparent. Typical results from treatment include a slimmer appearance in stubborn areas such as the abdomen, hips, and thighs. You can also expect a more flattering overall physique and contoured look.

To start, your surgeon will use small incisions to insert a tiny vacuum that removes fat cells. They will also contour your body, strategically removing and redistributing fat cells to create a more flattering overall appearance. After the fat is removed, your surgeon will stitch (suture) the treated areas and apply a bandage or garment to help re-drape the skin and contain swelling.

Yes. Lipo360 is an outpatient procedure and does not require a significant recovery period. However, you must arrange for someone to pick you up after surgery, take you home, and stay with you for 24 hours.

General anesthesia is used for all surgical procedures at the South Florida Center and is always performed by a professional M.D. Anesthesiologist.

Yes. Lipo360 can be combined with other procedures such as the popular Brazilian butt lift (BBL). During your initial consultation, discuss your concerns with your surgeon, and they will advise you as to whether combining procedures is a good choice for you.

Traditional liposuction focuses on one area at a time, removing fat cells from specific areas of the body. Lipo360 targets multiple areas at once, covering the entire midsection to achieve a more flattering shape from all angles.

Lipo360 removes fat cells, and new fat cells cannot be produced. So, technically the results of treatment are permanent. You can still gain weight in your body’s remaining fat cells. But they will distribute evenly over your entire body rather than causing another excessive buildup of fat in your problem areas. Still, about five percent of South Florida Center patients will choose to have a secondary, “touchup” liposculpture after about six months.
